The Chicago Blues Box features a lifetime warranty on all electronics with a one year warranty on the tubes. Our warranty reflects the confidence Butler Custom Sound has in these premium amplifiers, its components, and the quality of workmanship that goes in to every Chicago Blues Box.
Chicago Blues Box amps are all-tube, hand-wired, single-channel, 18-30-50-watt tone machines hand-built and assembled in the USA. The traditional solid-wood, finger-jointed cabinet is road tested and is available in a variety of colors (standard purple or black). Custom matching color knurled jewel head knobs put the finishing touch on every amplifier.
Over 60 hours of hand built assembly goes into every Chicago Blues Box. We start by cutting the fiber board, drill and tap over 150 solder eyelets. Then we install custom-wound transformers, pots and switches into the 16-guage steel chassis. Our proprietary Magic Wand ground bar is installed and the wiring process begins. Before any tube is installed, each undergoes a our stringent hand selection process. After final assembly, voltages are checked, tubes are biased, lock tight is applied to hardware and wires are bundled.
Over 60 hours of final tests are performed. We're players, so part of our job is to plug in and play every amp before it leaves our shop.
