Product Description
The GAIN-GREEN Gain Booster boosts your instrument's signal level going to amp, mixer, etc., giving you preamp gain boost. Clean to drive, sensitive to player's style and attack.
Leave it on all the time for increased gain and harmonic enhancement, or just kick it in when you need it.
Designer notes :
"A lot of people asked us for a simple gain booster. They wanted the pedal to be a small. I figured that a nice gain boost that also added a little enhancement would peak their interest. The RedZone "Gain Green does the job. It makes the clean channel on an amp sparkle and adds a little sustain with increased volume. Turning up the gain knob will increase volume and add a little overdrive with the knob at the upper end. When used in conjunction with an overdriven channel or in front of an OD pedal, it sweetens the harmonics and gives more saturation which adds sustain. When I finished making this pedal, I tried it with my guitar. Incredible! Next Glen tried it on his bass. He liked it but asked if I could tune a "Gain Green a little differently to accent more bass frequencies. As Glen put it, "Give the bass player a little respect". Done! Voila le "Bass Gain Green". What?s next? The "Polterdrive II mutlistage overdrive distortion for bass?"
