SKB has responded to the needs of working musicians again with their innovative new SKB-PS-55 stagefive Professional Pedalboard which will be introduced this July in Austin, Texas.
"The SKB-PS-55 stagefive electronics have been designed to accommodate any possible configuration of pedals. With (2) 1.3 amp VAC jacks for powering pedals from Digitech and Line 6; (2) variable DC jacks to allow any voltage from 4 – 12 volts, simulate an “almost” dead battery; (4) standard 9 VDC jack for Boss, Electro-Harmonix, etc; (1) 18 VDC jack for MXR,EVH, Flanger; (1) 24 VDC jack for boutique and vintage pedals: and (2) 9/12 VDC jacks to accommodate additional boutique and vintage pedals. All DC jacks have polarity switches so center negative or center positive is no problem with the new SKB-PS-55 stagefive Professional Pedalboard. The power is also filtered, regulated and short circuit protected. A detachable main power cord with a 115/230 VAC power supply so you can travel the world with this board and set-up anywhere,” stated Steph Maffei, Product Manager of SKB’s Music Division.
Other features of the SKB-PS-55 stagefive Professional Pedalboard are a built-in cable tester, built-in headphone amp, you can warm up before you hit the stage, and a built-in buffered preamp for long cable runs or different types of pick-ups. The angled mounting surface has a built-in cable management feature to eliminate disassembling the board in order to route cables and make it easier to reach all of your pedals.
Not only does the new SKB-PS-55 stagefive Professional Pedalboard have a durable hard cover to protect all of your “prized possessions”, a cushioned rubber overmolded handle for a secure and comfortable grip, the SKB stagefive Professional Pedalboard comes complete with pedal power cables and is backed by the SKB Million Mile Guaranty which means that it is guaranteed for life.
